In partnership with Upbeat, AAEE invites you to apply for the 4th cohort of the National Working Group on Teacher Retention.
What is the Upbeat Engagement Survey?
The Upbeat Survey is a carefully crafted and validated staff culture survey designed specifically for K-12 education that uncovers actionable insights and trends around 23 key factors correlated with teacher engagement and retention.
How does it work?
- Fill out the "I'm Interested" form to be contacted by an Upbeat professional to learn more about the National Working Group on Teacher Retention.
- District leaders will have an introductory call to learn more about the National Working Group & Upbeat.
- The fourth cohort of the Working Group will launch in late June; members of the group must be members of AAEE; individual and institutional memberships are available.
- Participants in the working group will hold bi-monthly virtual meetings centered around a problem of practice and become part of an online community that supports each other's goals and challenges with teacher retention.
- The Working Group will meet in-person at the AAEE Conference in Baltimore; attendance at the conference is not required.
We aim to see measurable improvement in staff retention at the participating districts while also gathering evidence to help other schools increase teacher engagement and tackle the national challenge of staff turnover.
