OK, we know that researching a school sounds a little basic, but let's not take it for granted. This is an important step to use in your job search tool belt. We will explore what to research and where to find information and why it's important to know. We will check out:

  • Mission statement and about district.
  • How is the school performing on specific tests in different subject areas?
  • Know the demographics of the school and district.
  • Can you access school board minutes? If so, read through them.
  • Be aware of school policies.
  • Review curriculum for the school and then research it!
