Are you interested in increasing your visibility within the education community while helping a group of educators raise money for worthy causes? If so, please consider this worthwhile partnership for your marketing outreach and charitable efforts.

The American Association for Employment in Education (AAEE), a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, will be holding its Annual Conference and Education Career Fair virtually on October 24-26, 2022. This event will include a Silent Auction to raise funds for the following two purposes:

  • Janice S. Jones Scholarship Program for Teachers of Color and Teachers in Critical Need Subject Areas. An ardent proponent of quality education for all, Janice Jones was well known for her lifelong advocacy of services for students with special needs. She was also recognized as an outstanding mentor for minority students studying to become teachers. The AAEE scholarship program is designed to support emerging educators who have demonstrated promise and commitment who are persons of color and/or are preparing for teaching careers in fields where there is a national shortage.
  • AAEE Mini-Grant Program to highlight and support innovative efforts by school districts to improve the pipeline of teachers into their districts and into the profession. These mini-grants are designed to help begin or sustain programs designed to inspire students to consider a career in teaching.

Would you consider helping us raise funds by donating a gift card or other item? All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax-deductible. (AAEE is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization; Tax ID# 23-6416525.) By participating, your organization will be listed as a sponsor in our program and your generosity will directly help an aspiring teacher.
