Academy District 20 


Academy District 20 (ASD20), founded in 1957, is one of the largest school districts in the Pikes Peak Region. A growing district that serves approximately 26,000 students, we've added approximately 7,000 students since 2003 and anticipate adding 5,000 more by 2028. To support our students and staff, our community passed a $230 million bond measure in 2016. Uncommon Schools is a nonprofit organization that starts and manages outstanding urban public charter schools that close the achievement gap and prepare students in high-poverty, high-need areas to graduate from college. Uncommon currently manages 54 schools serving more than 20,000 K-12 students in six cities: Boston, Camden, New York City, Newark, Rochester, and Troy.


At Uncommon Schools, we believe education can be a powerful catalyst for change in our communities. Our graduates go on to earn college degrees at five times the rate of low-income students nationally. Williamsburg County School District has a long history of effectively educating children to be successful in their lifetime endeavors, with the mission to ensure a world-class education for all students by utilizing a rigorous, innovative curriculum that focuses on creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. 

With approximately 3,000 students in two primary schools, three elementary schools, three middle schools, two high schools, one career center, one alternative school, and one flexible learning environment. Williamsburg County School District employs over 500 full-time certified and classified employees and operates on an annual budget that exceeds $50 million dollars.   

Williamsburg County Schools offer a standards-based aligned curriculum to ensure that each student is academically challenged and performs beyond adequate in an environment where excellence is expected.

Headquartered in Woodridge, Illinois, Woodridge School District 68 is approximately 30 miles southwest of Chicago's Loop. Woodridge 68 serves just over 2,700 students with 84.6% of the school district's students residing in Woodridge. The remaining students live in parts of Downers Grove, Bolingbrook, Lisle and Naperville .

Seven schools make up the school district. Grades K-6 are housed at six elementary schools: Edgewood, Goodrich, John L. Sipley, Meadowview, William F. Murphy and Willow Creek. Thomas Jefferson Junior High School serves students in grades 7-8.

Welcome to Zion Elementary School District 6!

We are a diverse, elementary PreK- Gr 8 school District, located in northern Illinois, centrally located between two major cities, Chicago and Milwaukee. We serve approximately 2,400 students and offer innovative curriculum with 1:1 Technology for students.

We have a dynamic Teacher Mentoring Program and support our staff with relevant professional development and interactive Professional Learning Communities.
